EAST & W/R:EST – 9 DEATHS OF CURATOR: HOW TO BE(COME) MORE RELEVANT
Dr Nikola Krstović, a lecturer and researcher from Serbia, is implementing an interesting project about museum relevance in the East and South-East Europe
East & W/R:est is research proposal refereeing to the East European museology development and relevance and its position in the global tendencies of fluid field of musologies, heritage studies and cultures of memory. It is planned to be conducted following the frame of the MA course “9 Deaths of curator” (held at University of Belgrade, Faculty of Philosophy). The research will be conducted as independent research with the support of AZ:HACK (Association of Knowledge: Heritage, Art and Culture) and Center for museology and heitology, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade.
The main goal is to enlighten the connections between theoretical approaches and practical solutions and processes that illustrates the East European cultural sphere and how these connections are reflected in the global scene.
