The main goal of RA ICOM SEE is to improve understanding between museums and heritage sector by implementing high standards of professional conduct and new trend in museology. The cooperation in the region is fostered in spite of political, ethnic, religious, cultural and other differences RA ICOM SEE strives to be a part of the driving force that will lead to positive changes in museums and heritage preservation taking into account specific needs in the region of South-East Europe.
