Board members
CHAIR

Jurica Sabol (ICOM Croatia) has been employed at the Museums of the Croatian Zagorje since 2011, where he has worked as a guide, curator geologist, and museum manager. In 2021, he was appointed General Director of the Museums of the Croatian Zagorje, the largest museum institution in Croatia. He has authored numerous domestic and international thematic exhibitions, as well as professional papers in the fields of geology, palaeontology, and strategic planning. His current professional focus is on the planning and implementation of EU-funded projects within the institution.
VICE CHAIRS

Lidija Milašinović (ICOM Serbia) obtained her Bachelor’s degree and Magister in Archaeology from the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade. Since 2004, she has been employed at the National Museum of Kikinda as Curator of Archaeology, and from 2010 to 2025 she served as the Museum’s Director. She currently holds the position of Museum Adviser. Her professional interests include the interpretation and revitalization of local heritage through community collaboration. She has led or participated in numerous EU-funded projects (IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Serbia–Romania, Serbia–Hungary, RSEDP, Ljubljana Process II) and international archaeological research projects with universities in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Dublin. A long-term collaborator of the Forum of Slavic Cultures, she has served as the National Coordinator for EMA since 2024 and has established extensive partnerships with museums across the region. She has been a member of ICOM Serbia since 2011, a representative in the ICOM SEE Regional Alliance since 2022, and a member of the INTERCOM Working Group since 2024.

Alma Leka (ICOM Bosnia Herzegovina) is a historian and museum advisor with more than 26 years of professional experience in the museum and cultural heritage sector. She graduated in history from the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo. Since 1999, she has been employed at the History Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina as a historian and museum advisor. She has been fully involved in the work and development of ICOM Bosnia and Herzegovina since its establishment in 2006, holding key roles including Treasurer (2007–2010), Secretary (2010–2017), and Chair (2017–2025). Since 2014, she has served as National Correspondent for Bosnia and Herzegovina to the European Museum Forum (EMF). She is the author and co-author of numerous exhibitions, professional and academic papers, and books in the fields of history, museology, and cultural heritage, as well as co-author of four history textbooks for primary and secondary schools. She served as Director of the Museum of Sarajevo (2020–2022) and is a member of ICOM INTERCOM, ICOFOM, and ICTOP. Since the establishment of ICOM SEE in 2005, she has been actively engaged in developing regional and international cooperation in the museum and heritage sector.
TREASURER

Alenka Černelič Krošelj (ICOM Slovenia) is a museum advisor and Managing Director of the Posavje Museum Brežice (Slovenia) since 2014. She studied history of art, ethnology, and cultural anthropology at the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana. Her work experience includes positions in various cultural institutions and participation in projects financed through EU funds. She is active in several strategic and development boards (such as the Posavje Regional Development Agency) and organisations promoting societal development through cultural heritage. She is also a lecturer at the Faculty of Tourism. From 2017 to 2022, she served as Vice Chair of ICOM Slovenia, Chair of the Slovenian Museums Association, and Chair of the ICOM SEE Regional Alliance. Since 2021, she has been a member of the Governing Board of IMREC (International Museums Research and Exchange Centre).
SECRETARY

Matija Dronjić (ICOM Croatia) graduated in ethnology and archaeology from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb, in 2011. Since 2012, he has been employed as a curator at the Ethnographic Museum in Zagreb, where he currently works as Senior Curator and manages the Audiovisual Collections. He has been an active participant in numerous national and international research, exhibition, and intangible cultural heritage promotion projects and has authored over 30 professional papers, books, and exhibition catalogues. His professional interests focus on the digitalization of cultural heritage, big data management, visual and landscape anthropology, and community engagement in intangible cultural heritage safeguarding. He is an alumnus of the ICOM ITC Beijing (2015) and a former research associate of the National Folk Museum of Korea (2017).
